I have a Customer who has just upgraded to MCD 8 PR3 and have a Nu-Point VM. When someone leaves a message the user presses the Envelope button and is prompted for the passcode and it works fine. If there is no message waiting and they press the envelope then they are prompted for a mailbox number. They enter their mailbox and its says invalid. If they dial the vm hunt group it works ok.
They insist it used to work on the previous version and it works on our house system which is MCD 6.0 SP3

Check the programming for the voicemail in the Call Coverage Services form

Could be a stupid question, but what is prompting the user to press the VM button if it's not lighting?
Usually says NO MESSAGE in my case.

Not knowing is not a limitation of knowledge, it's a limitation of resource. Not sharing is a limitation of both.

Hi warlockcode - they are wanting to change their greeting on a daily basis.

I see, have they tried pressing the mailbox followed by * ?

On a 3300, pressing the key when it is not lit will only follow the programming in the call coverage form.

If nothing is programmed in the call coverage form, nothing will happen.

Have you checked that programming as I suggested earlier?

Hi kwbMitel
Apologies but I was away on hols and didn't update the ticket. Turns out the Call Coverage form had the VM Hunt group for another system in the cluster hence they were getting the invalid mailbox number.
Thanks for your help (as always!)
