VOICEMAIL BOX NOT ACCEPTING MSGS

I have a call pilot 150 v3.1 with 4 lines. One of the mailboxes that i have built AFTER initialization still says that the mailbox has NOT been initialized. I have taken it out and put it back in, changed the COS nothing helps.Any ideas as to what this may be ?

If you built say mailbox 222 then do one of the following:

From Ext 222:
F981
0000
Change password and verify
Record "Joe Blow ext 222"


From any other Ext:
F981
OTHER
2220000
Change password and verify
Record "Joe Blow ext 222"

It is a subscriber mailbox?

You can access the mailbox with F981 and log in and change the password?

You are initializing on site not remotely?

If so reboot the VM.

I have hadthe office manager initalize on site, and i have done the same remotely. All to no avail.

I did exactly what you wrote Curlycord. It does show up as programed. And i can and have changed the password.And yes Ironhorse. We can log in using f981. And we have changed the password.

The ext and mailbox are both 2568

I am guessing reboot too if your are sure of everything, but sometimes clients mislead us.

- under F983/MBOX/CHG/2568 it states Ext:2568 correct?
- at ext 2568 it asks for password and not log?
- When you do Feature 980 then enter 2568 does it still say not initialized?.
- When you intercom 2568 does it still say not initialized after the ring count?.

I would go with atdjr123 suggestions, had a client years ago every time they assigned a mail box to 222 and you would open the mail box the entire voice mail system would crash, had another where we deleted the mailbox, created a new one and the old was still there until we re-booted, you hot to love this technology, lol
