Voicelog problems

Recording phonecalls digitalised with danaswitches and XRipper causes multiple problems. Sometimes the danaswitch doesn't work on one PC and works on another; sometimes the PC crashes (blue screen) when XRipper is launched or started. These problems seem to be random, without reproductive cause.

Does anyone recognize this problem, or does anyone know alternative hard- or software to record phonecalls digitally?

Oh Yes, but do you have a budget? What I mean is there are plenty, but they cost money.

Thanks guys, you're right of course: lots of good stuff if you're willing to pay for it. I know from colleagues that Nice works good.
Unfortunately I have to deal with a low budget for the time being, so I hoped someone could help me with this crappy cheap stuff.
