Voice recording

Hi,

I've enabled voice recording of all inbound calls. These are deposited into the users normal voice mail boxes. The difficulty is trying to see what was left as a voice mail and what was a recorded message. Does anyone know if there is there any way to easily distinguish what is a recording and what is a left voice mail?

You need contact store for that
That is installed on the same server where voicemail pro is installed but on a different partition
It is a licenced feature so it is not free !!!

not free but imho its well worth the money.

you can get a 45 day trial to see if it suits....

Thanks. Doesn't this just provide another application for users to search recordings? I was really after and easy way for users to identify them in Phone Manager.

You can search for recordings in a webbased application

you can give each user a log on so that they can only see their own recordings. then they can access them through IE

Sometimes I do this

Create a huntgroup per user,
give access to the huntgroup voicemail for each user,

then on the recording tab for each user set the recording mailbox to be each huntgroup

then only recorded messages will show up in the huntgroup and the users normal voicemailbox will just be voicemails

nice way of doing it. painful to manage if you have more than a few users tho...

would UMS work well for this??? i have used it and played around with it a bit but not enough to answer this question

its good for managing voicemail messages etc
