Voice Pro 408 PROMs

I have a Voice Pro 408, and after reading the Mitch B's FAQ it seems that I need to upgrade to software version 2.021 to get rid of the "chirp".

The next problem I have is getting it to answer with my personal message. It insisists on using its own, spiel, the press 1 to leave a message. This one I can likely work through, but if someone has a suggestion, I am all ears.

In many cases, 2.021 will remove the chirp, but not in ALL cases.

I neglected to ask where I can get version 2.021 software. PROMs are fine, or I can program my own if I can get the files.

I am also looking for the 2.021 prom for the vp412. I have searched all over the web and usenet to no avail. Does anyone have an eeprom of this firmware to sell or the image? (I could burn it myself if I had to.)

I was wondering if anyone has information on the 2.021 upgrade prom for the VP206. Availability and cost. If you do I would definitely appreciate the info.

I have a VP408 with the Version 2.021 software. I cannot find proper Programming function number associated with "Directory." The manual says it is 28#, but the unit says that is an invalid code. Help?
