I'm searching for some information regarding the limits on a voice mailbox (number of messages and/or time limit?), and whether these can be changed. One of the corporate "suits" receives numerous voice mails, so his callers are constantly getting a "mailbox full" message when trying to reach him. Worst of all, he apparently can't access his mailbox remotely (**) when it's full by dialing his DID directly.

So far, only workaround seems to be to delete some of his messages for him. What time period are they held, and what is the criteria for "rolling off" old messages?

Any solutions?

Thanks!

Which Norstar Voice Mail Do you have? Depending on the voicemail you can change this option...

It's a 4-channel Startalk Flash with a VM 2.0.10 version card (dated 2001/05).

Go in and change class of service to higher class . It is now moat likely class 1

if you give the voicemail its own did access number. then people can dial in to it directly to access their own mail or leave a message for someone else
