I have a menu option set to 2??? and also an option 2. When a user presses 2222 the system just passed it to the 2 menu option how can I watch for the for digit entry ?

Thank You

del 2??? from the main menu, have 2 go to a sub menu with ??? and timeout in one sec to go to the original 2 selector code destination.

You cannot do the setup you have.

If you wish to choose 2 as a menu option keep that.
But then create another option and then from that option do the 2???

So in your greeting say:
1 for this
2 for that
3 for that
4 if you know the extension number.

then route 4 to a menu containing your 2???
Hope this makes sense.

You can do it: make 2 go to another menu with the time out transfering to the destination the set a ??? to transfer to a transfe with 2$KEY

I would do the following:
In the main menu no option 2 and no option 2???, instead i would add a option $.
From the $ then check the $CLI value, if it is 2 then route as if cust dialled a 2 only, if not then route to a transfer with $KEY as the destination.
