Hello,

I have a VMPRO 9.1.6 running on a windows 2012 server. The voice mail is running a SCN. During the evening hours we get a link error displaying "Voicemail Pro connection failure" and under the voice mail services it displays "Stopping". I could not get the service back up until I reboot the server. It happens separately.

Thanks,
Oscar

Check the windows application event logs for errors.
We also had issues with running VMPRO on a windows 2012 server. We ended up running it on a virtual machine that runs windows 8, where the virtual machine is on the Windows 2012 server. Also gives you better separation between the two, especially if you are using the server for anything else.

Also, take a look at this article for troubleshooting VMPRO:

During the evening hours, are you doing any sort of databackups on the network with high traffic?
I ask because I had the strangest issue on my 2012r2 server on a dell t3500. Whenever I would put a load on the network (not on the server mind you), such as a bit torrent or downloading a game from steam, voicemail pro would just...stop working. IP Office would disconnect from it, service would stop, and then puke a bunch of alarms to me via email. Strangest damn thing.

Ended up isolating the IPO and server on their own gig switch from the rest of the network and the issue went away. Very odd. Worked fine when the vmpro was on a windows 7 box.
