Hello,

I apologize if this is a silly question but I am wondering if it is possible to program one individual phone so that when a caller listens to the voice mail greeting it can direct them to "press 1" for a certain location and have it then transfer them to the line at that location?

Does this have to involve building a menu in admin or is there an easier way? The transfer would be to an internal extension.

Can this be done? And if so would anyone be kind enough to give me a walk through?

Thanks!

Thanks!

If this is Meridian Mail, program the number you want to transfer to against the Revert DN prompt on the mailbox. You need to announce this as for example "If you want to transfer to my cellphone, press 0 now or leave a message

Ok great, but for future reference this is the only option correct? I mean using the revert DN and pressing 0, there is no way to say "Press 1 or 2 or whatever". For something like that you would have to build a menu?

Thank you!

Correct - you would have to use a menu to have caller press 1 or 2 etc.
