Voice Mail Light Notification Long Delay After Message Has been Left

Site A hosts the VMPRO server and Site B connects over a VOIP line to Site A for VoiceMail. Every user at Site A receives their message waiting notifications in a timely manner (almost immediately), but Site B can be delayed for hours. All phones at Site B are 5610s.

Any suggestions on what could be the cause of this?

Did you do a network asessment? How is the quality on calls between the 2 sites?

The installation vendor did not do a network assessment before the installation but is doing so in the near future. We are waiting for the results with great expectation.

Some users DO complain about the quality of the calls. They are part of an mpls network using ip phones almost exclusivley. Four of the sites hav their own connectivity and do not backhaul over voip lines for outbound calling. One other site DOES backhaul and is a carbon copy of the problem site. They, however, are not reporting this issue. All sites call each other using four digit dialing (scn). But, no one seems to be reporting the same problems: either voice mail notification delay or bad call quality.
