Voice Mail Hunt Group

Can somebody explain why we cover to a hunt group to get to voice mail such as Modular Messaging in an IP environment?

Well I'm uncertain about coverpath routing to voice mail, but when you have multiple users in remote locations. Assigning users (tasked with helpdesk or identical duties) to the same hunt group eliminates excessive vector administration.
