Voice Mail Dropped Message and Full Mail Box

Three questions
1) Several of my extensions (mailboxes) are reporting 80% full but there are no messages.

2) We are getting lost messages reports at several extensions and people report that they left a message but received no response.

3. We have a phantom message dated in January but there is no message to access.

That sounds like Hard Drive problems.

You could dial into it's modem with hyper-terminal, (The 7th Port on the MLM-007) and do some analysis, but with the MLM-007, THAT IS DANGEROUS at the very least.

It has a "funny" bit of diagnostics built in. If, during the course of testing the HD, the diagnostics decides there are too many bad sectors on it, IT WILL NOT ALLOW A REBOOT, and what little Voice Mail you have will STOP ALTOGETHER.

Just a word of caution.

These HD's are proprietary but they can be obtained in the AFTER MARKET world.
