Voice Mail Button on 9508 and 4816 Tel sets.

Hello.
I would like to know if it is possible to use the voice mail button on the 9508 and 4816 Avaya telephone sets to directly access another vendors outside/offsite
voice mail system? Meaning that it would perform the same features as if it were connected to the Avaya internal voice Mail.

Or is this just wishful thinking?
