Voice Mail broadcasting in meridian mail. 1

Hello All,
Is there a way to create one voice mail box in meridian mail and have it broadcast a message to all v-mail boxes on the system? Any help will be greatly appreciated!!

You can login to a mailbox that has administrative capabilities and send a broadcast message.

BkMesser Is there anything you can point me too, that will give me an idea on what I'm doing. I'm an IT guy thrown into the pbx world.

You will have to login to the Mer Mail and find out if your mailbox has admin rights. I think this is done by assigning a class of service that allows this to your mailbox.

A word of warning, At the last company I worked for the Pres wanted to Broadcast a weekly message to all the Home office staff. I told them this would be a bad idea as we have over 350 staff. well they told me to do it anyway and the next moring I started getting calls from everyone that they couldn't get into there Vmail and there Msg light was lit. well 4hrs later people were still trying to get in. the Pres left a 20 min message. we had 8 Vmail ports

Thanks Guys, I was able to get it going. Simple changes had to be made because all of the mailboxes were created with admin rights. everything else was already pre-defined.
