there are two backups that can be performed on the nam 1. feature 983 ( login) then press 22 this backs up AA greetings, mailboxes, mailbox greetings, basically all data that would be customised for the site. THIS DOES NOT BACKUP MESSAGES LEFT IN A MAILBOX.feature 983 ( login ) 33 restores all data. 2. feature (915 ) (password)and somewhere in admin. this will backup the capabilaties of the nam. # of voice channels, speech recognition, basically any keycodes you install in the nam. If you were to swap harddrives this info is lost. this backup takes care of that problem.
you can take your feature 983 backup and go to any other nam and install your data base without a problem. The feature 915 data is only good on the nam with that serial number. I hope this helps.
