Voice Intercom

Hello

My name is Chris. I work for a small business. We have Lucent/Avaya Partner Plus AVS system in place. What I would like to do is somehow have an intercom through the phones without ringning the other phone. I want to be able to contact an extension and speak through their speaker without them having to pick up the phone from the call. Is this at all possible?

Press intercom * then dial the ext.# as long as the ext. you are calling has the HFAI button on ( green LED )the ext. will be able to answer without lifting the handset. You can also program Auto Dial buttons for Voice signaling.
