Hey Guys,
We have a NEC Elite 48/192 system that we would like to do voice menus for a caller to call in and pick out what department or person he wants to talk to.
what I'm looking to do is this:
system will answer caller, say you have reached XYZ company, please listen to the following directory, for sales press 1, for garbage press 2, so on and so forth.
Is my system capable of this and if so what exactly is it called and how do I set it up?
Thanks

We have a voice mail setup in our system so without knowing exactly what type it is how would I tell?

cosessions and a laptop to attach to the serial port, and a manual. programs like a repartee.

NOTE: cosessions will not work on anything newer than XP, or possibly WIN 7 32 bit, but definitely not on a 64 bit operating system.

I have tried to find Cosessions before and never found a copy.
Is this not possible to do via the supervisor phone?
Phone systems is not my specialty and I don't this for a living like you guys so I need some friendly help, I never had to setup this kind of thing in any phone system and not sure which way to go or the correct terminology at times. That's why I reached out to you guys.
Thanks for your understanding and help.

One key dialing in the voice mail/AA is done through the cosessions software. Some administration can be done by logging into the system administrator through a phone with admin. rights. Do you have an old XP PC that you can use?

I believe I have an old laptop that I can re purpose if needed.

I can send you a link to get cosessions. I will need an email address, however this forum does not have any private messaging options. I suggest you set up a temporary email then delete it afterward. The files are too large to attach. This will be a drop box location.
