Vodavi Talkpath Backup

Hello.

I'm at a customer's site and I've been told the voicemail is going out. It's a digital Talkpath voice mail system. I have no clue what I'm doing

I would just grab the drive and dd or Acronis it but I've been told I need to do something with eCom or something so I don't have to take the system offline. I have access to most of the Vodavi software but I have no idea how to use it.

Anyone have any guides or advice they could provide me so I could get this done? This is outside my realm of knowledge (I'm more of the router/server kinda guy. Actually this is the first time I've been asked to do voicemail work.)

you will need ecom to do a download of the voice mail then you will have the config and can upload it to a new unit. If you haven't done it yet then go to the Vodavi web site and sign yo as a distributor and you will be able to down load ecom and the manual for the VM and it will tell you step by step how to do this.
