Hello,
I have a Vodavi P# 5000-00 that won't keep programing during a power failure. When power comes back on phone display shows DKTU 24-D GSPD.V2.0B. I was wondering if it could be the Tekcell Lithium battery SU-AA02 3.6V size 1/2 AA that could be bad? Check battery has no voltage. If so can this be replaced without removing the circuit board from the case.
Please let me know.

Thanks,
Kyle

Thanks for the responses,
I'm going to replace the battery this evening and see what happens.
I'll post the results.

Couldn't find a battery with tabs on the positive and negective sides. Got a single AA battery holder from Radio Shack soldered the leads in the old battery position installed battery in holder and put in a metal spacer to make up the space of the shorter batt.
Battery corrected problem.
I will get a Vodavi replacement battery. May still use battery holder so it'll be easy to replace the battery.

Thanks again for everyone's help.
