In discussions with a client of ours about a potential upgrade. Apparently vodafone, who do their mobiles, have told them that they're the biggest ipo supplier in the UK and they should go with them?

I'm certain there has been a misunderstanding somewhere, but anyone heard anything like this before?

They bought Central Telecom who were always an Avaya BP.

I think the adress was something like The Maltings in Derbyshire. Went for an interview there many moons ago.

Most of the UK big mobile operators are moving towards unified communications as part of their portfolio

Vodafone bought Central
Orange Bought Equint
O2 are runoured to be interested in Datapoint

At that level though they're more interested in selling ACMs and not little IPOs.

Not all. I've put an Alcatel Omni PCX Office into Huddersfield Town (Best club in the land!!!) and a Pana KX-TDA 200 into Donny Rovers.

Leeds United had a multitude of Centrex at the back end of the Nineties. Don't know what they have now. They possibly an INDeX at one point.

I ouwld think Central/Vodaphone are big enough to have engineers based all round the country.

I have always wished that my computer would be as easy to use as my telephone.
My wish has come true. I no longer know how to use my telephone.

The full one! His star count doesn't really reflect his abilities though...
