VNP works outside the network, but inside

My network consists of several servers which are protected by a sonicwall firewall. Anyone can connect with pptp vpn from outside the network. However when someone picks up the wireless signal that I have set up with a simple netgear switch/router, they cannot vpn. I have searched every forum I could think of and didn't find anything related to this problem. All my servers are 2k3 servers, connected xp machines. Any suggestions?? Thanks

are you forwarding port 1723 thru to the VPN servers.

Yes I am forwarding 1723, I am running a front server with a public IP address, and my VPN server is on an internal 2k3 server. I have forwarding set up thruogh my firewall to send that port to my vpn server. Even though I can't vpn to the public ip from inside the network...I figured that I try connecting directly to the vpn server and it worked. Not sure why all of a sudden I couldn't access vpn to the public IP but I'll settle for it working right now.
