We are trying an experiment with the VMWare Avaya VPN Gateway to access some of our IPO systems. Has anyone else tried setting this up.
We have run through the install procedures and are at the Log on to AVG VM portion.
The Documentation says to log on as root with no default password.
When we try that we cannot get in. As if there is a password required.
Is there another document that we should be looking at? Has anyone else tried setting this up?

Thanks in advance!

Assuming this is the same as the older 3050 VPN software, I set a few up a little while back.
I never logged in as root, always logged in as admin.

The admin password is set during the initial command line setup phase.

Thanks for the reply Shardian.
It was one of our other techs that went through the Virtual Machine setup and install of the AVG image.
I don't believe he was ever prompted to setup an admin login via a command line.
