I have a Partner ACS R3.03 C01 w/Voice Messaging System on a 5 phone system I bought in 1999 or so. The greeting & extension directory disappeared this a.m. all a caller gets is a generic greeting saying "if you know the ext. of..." I need to get a new greeting and extension directory on the Voice Messaging System but do not see how in the manual.
Any help appreciated.
Thanks

The users guide says :
PARTNER MAIL
Voice Messaging System
Release 3

Users Guide

the above users guide appears to be for the users of the system and not a system "administrator".

I also have a much larger manual called:
PARTNER
Advanced Communications System
Programming and Use

it is in this manual that I have been looking for instructions for entering the greeting on my VMail.

Ok, Dial intercom 777, when it asks for extension enter 9997#, then it's going to ask you for a password, this is where you will have a problem if you don't know what it is, if you do know it enter it plus #, then 9 and then you will be in the option menu to do what you want.

A trusted source for years.

the instructions you gave "Dial intercom 777, when it asks for extension enter 9997#", allow me to change personal greetings on a single phone in the system or also to check the voice mail messages on a single phone on the system.

My problem is the greeting on the auto attendant think) feature of the whole system. That is, if you call my company and no one picks up the ringing line, the system automatically answers, tells the caller what company they have reached and gives the caller directions(extension numbers) to people within the company. i.e. "for sales press 3, for accounting, press 4" and so on. It is this message I need to record. Any additional ideas?

BTW, thanks for taking the time to respond. I am amazed to get answers this quick.
