Looking for guidance (detailed) on how to upgrade a VM pro UC110. I believe I have downloaded the latest software.
I need to know what directories to navigate to upload the proper RPM files, for OS, and then Apps.
Documentation is less than helpful.

The documents are very clear in how to do this.
But to help you out, there are a couple of options.

1 -> USB stick configured for the UCM with the latest ISO on it
2 -> From the webcontrol page upload the RPM's one by one.
3 -> SSH, copy the RPPM's to /var/cache/Avaya/apps

Then for option 2 and 3 go tot the webcontrol page -> updates and upgrade the uploaded RPM's

When you have done this then check the docs again.
If you then still have no clue then you have the wrong docs :)

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

the latest firmware (9.0) only works when you have the firmware of 9.0 on the IPO and the licensing for it
make sure you have the latest firmware of your licensed release of the IPO otherwise you will have to do it again downgrading.
