Hey guys,

I'm having an issue with VMPro on a UC Module. I've set up their auto attendants so that they can dial a shortcode (*81), then press a number, and edit the recording for the auto attendant. I did some test recordings for each AA and then dialed users I had set up to forward to each individual auto attendant. My test recordings were there, so I figured it was good to go. I gave the customer instructions on how to update the recordings, and they updated them (some very long recordings, such as a directory). I then dialed the AAs and my test recordings were still there. I thought that was odd, so I dialed *81, and pressed 1 to listen to the recording. Sure enough, there new recordings were there. I checked to see if it had updated in VMPro by playing the sound file, and it had updated there. Yet somehow, the recordings aren't updated for the actual auto attendant.

Any ideas?

It is configured wrong?

Should use an edit play action.

Yes I am using edit play action for the recording.

You have a double set of wav files, the recording-action is pointing to a file that is not located in the same folder as the AA is collecting it's wav prompts from.

Let's say you have your pre-recorded waves in ..\WAVS\EN\CUSTOM\, but your customer has a US setup, where the prompts are located in ..\WAVS\ENU\CUSTOM\ (just an example.)

In the VMPro client, go to the recording menu, see where the prompts are located. Then you either move the files and re-calibrate the recording menu, or have the AA pick up the wav's from the folder where the correct recordings are located.

Kind regards

Gunnar

right but can you play the wavs from the edit play player.
also you can find out if your system is playing the right stuff from the voicemail traces.
