I have a couple of questions -

Is there a way to slow down the playback of voice mail messages. Our old system could play the message slowly in case they had to write some information down.

When leaving a message for someone (using a shortcode to Voicmail Collect) is it possible to cancel delivery after the # sign has been pressed?

Can a user determine how many saved messages there are in their mailbox?

How do you repeat the header?

Thanks in advance.

Should be the same as audix-there is an intuity wallet card you can download from avaya website.

The card shows 8 and 9 for faster/slower.. but when I press it, i get "Invalid Entry".

is your vmpro setup in ip office voicemail mode or intuity mode?

What release of VmPro? Buy the sound of your name it looks like your from chicago?

Looks like closest in IPoffice mode is 5 and 6.. 6 advances a few seconds and 5 goes back a few seconds according to *H

1. Is there a way to slow down the playback of voice mail messages. = No.

2. When leaving a message for someone (using a shortcode to Voicmail Collect) is it possible to cancel delivery after the # sign has been pressed? = No. Nearest is to send a message from your own mailbox or via a custom callflow, in both of which

3. Can a user determine how many saved messages there are in their mailbox? = Don't know, never saved a message, doesn't it tell you when you skip to that category (*#).

4. How do you repeat the header? = Press 23.

opps. Form my answer 2. I menat to say "..., in both of which you enter the destination of the message after recording it and so can abandon the message by not setting an address."

Key thing with IP Office Intuity is that its only an emulation of intuity (ie. its a completely different system that just tries to match Intuity key presses and prompts) and not a full emulation at that.

Ah.. but my telco vendor set up shortcodes like *321 to jump right into leaving a message for Ext 321. In that case, the extension is already there.. and when you press #. It's a done deal.

I understand the emulation thing... would be nice if it had the speedup or slowdown feature. Avaya.. Are you listening? I'll talk to my presales Avaya rep. He seems to think that they're really responsive to feature requests.... or maybe that was his pitch.

FYI, While listening to a message you can access the following features:
0- to listen to your message
1- forward message on
2- rewind to beginning with ability to access message header
3- pauses the message. 3 again starts message from that point
5- rewinds 3 seconds
6- fast forwards 3 seconds
