Hey guys,

I'm currently trying to get a customer to sign on with an IPO implementation, but can't find a definitive answer to this one.

They want call recording, but don't want to pay for Contact Store. I'd like to find how caller ID information is shown when using Manual Recording via Voicemail Pro - specifically, extension 110 records a call and their manual recording mailbox is set up to drop the recording in extension 210. When checking the VM at 210, does it show the outside caller's ID, or does it show the extension that recorded it?

Thanks in advance!

It shows the extension that recorded it I believe.

I apologize, I just tested this on my system. It shows, on a manual recording Voicemail Message (INCOMINGCALLERID > Destination (user name) ) FROM: INCOMINGCALLERID

So it shows the extension that recorded it (destination user name), as well as the incoming caller id, and this is true even if it's dropped into another mailbox. It'll just show the incoming caller ID on visual voicemail, but both if you send it to email.

Perfect! Thanks a lot for testing that out for me, Austin.. looks like it's time for me to get a demo system to play with!

Cheers!
