I read a few older posts about wavs not working etc.

Any caveats I should be looking out for? Export and import of the modules seems to work well. I was going to copy over the greetings /users accounts/wav folder etc over
I'm not thinking a restore will work from what I'm reading.

Just looking for the best process
Thanks for any options/opinions

I've found it's just easier to copy the wav files and make an export of the modules and such.
Tell everyone that if they have important voicemail files, that they need to get them before the transition. Moving from one piece of hardware to another, shit happens.

What release? The backup/restore process works well on the newer releases when moving between Linux and Windows. Copy/splatting files will generally bring pain when moving between platforms. Always a good idea to do a dry run before you depend on making the swap.

If you are doing a release upgrade at the same time, always move from Linux to Windows and vice versa on the same release, then do an in place upgrade.

AAcon- amen to that "shit happens"

Good to know a restore might work. Some other post's I have read seem to state they had no luck with the restore and needed to drag the files over. Which would be a little bit of a pain. The app server is at 9.1 but now they want to go windows now.
