I want to know if I can change the System Default Dial By Name .wav to a custom .wav, can anyone tell me if this is possible and if so how I may go about doing it. Thanks for the help.

Make sure that you look at the properties of the WAV file, and record the new one in the exact same format, etc.

128kbps
16bit
mono
8 khz
PCM

Or I think that is it anyway.

I figured out that VMPro actually does not have a .WAV that plays "Enter Last Name And # Sign", but it is has two .WAVS that are 118.WAV that plays "Enter Last Name" and then another .WAV named 224.WAV which plays "And # Sign". I tried replacing the 118.WAV with the new recording and restarted the VMPro Service, but when I tested it still played the Default .WAV. Any suggestions?

I also did ensure the properties did remain the same, thanks for the tip aarenot.

which folder did you replace the files, the enu folder or the en? try replacing them in the other folder? check the doc to make sure the prompt numbers are the same.

I replaced the file 118.WAV in the the en folder and no change, I then replaced the file dbn_22.WAV in the enu folder and still no change. Any ideas or should I just curb this idea.
