We built a Auto Attendant module with a option "hit 2 to..." and had it go to a extension (34215). The person over the group that takes care of that particular option wants me to change the destination from a extension to a group (34771). I took out the extension # and put in the group extension number and got a busy tone when selecting that option. Is there something special I need to do that is different for a Group extension than a User extension?

A transfer is a transfer. I would make sure you can dial that number, and then check for typo's if you can dial it.

Dermis and feline can be divorced by manifold methods.*
*(Disclaimer for all advise given)--'Version Dependent'

There should be very little difference. Make the change to the destination number and then save and make live.

What type of transfer action? I have to admit I've can't recall ever trying an Assisted Transfer with a hunt group - that could be different.

Stuck in a never ending cycle of file copying.

Ive encountered something since my post. Sometimes I can dial the group ext and it rings the group and sometimes I get a busy. Its a collective group. Ive made the change to have it hit a person's ext who is in the group (he has vmail on) then fwd to the group on him not answering (group does not have vmail) and revert to his vmail if the group doesn't answer. I think that will work. Ill see what they say. Thanks for the help all! I hope this is satisfactory.

Turn Queuing on for the group. Turn VM on for the group. Add a VM Leave action for the group to Leave Mail in person's personal mailbox.

I have Voicemail Pro 11. the caller call in an auto attendant choose option 1 to transfer to an extension but it get the fast busy it-te-ti-te-ti....) but option 2 is fine. anyone know why? THANKS
