Hi,

I have Installed avaya IPO Rls. 11 SP4 with PRI.
When a call lands on PRI and then VM pro Welcome greeting played, if I try to enter the desired direct No. (Extension Number or other options on the Menu) not able to dial or enter the DTMF tones, the welcome greeting goes on ...
if I try it internallay by dialing the short cod of the Msg greeting, nothing happens the message goes on and nothing happens.

Any Idea on how to solve this issues ?

Hello ...

Has anyone ever experienced this problem?

Have you checked this?

We had a similar issue last week. We tried to upgrade from R10.0.0.4 to R11.0.4.0 and as soon as we get into VMPRO we cannot do anything, DMTM tones are not recognized. Either from SIP trunks, PRI or inside.

I looked into the logs and I cannot pinpoint where the problem is.

In my lab I've upgraded to R11.0.2.0 and no issues, only when I upgrade to FP4.

I'm trying to get my provider open a ticket with Avaya but they suggest me to upgrade my prod environment to SP2, take a VM snapshot, upgrade to FP4 and open a ticket with Avaya. I'm arguing that I have the problem in my lab and problem should be solve prior upgrading... They told me that Avaya wouldn’t even bother looking at my lab. Is that true you think?

If you have a supplemental service agreement, IPOSS, on the lab IPO then they will open a ticket if not no.
Mike

It doesn't make sense to put the whole production environment down and wait for avaya to get back to us at 3:00AM while we can troubleshoot anytime using a lab. It's time and $ consuming for everybody :(
