I am pulling my hair out! I have set up very simple coditions for office hours. I applied the conditions to my auto attendant and it will only recognize the false statement. Even if I check all days and put 00:00 - 23:59 in every box, it still chooses the false statement. What am I doing wrong?

Thanks!

Garry

Maybe selecting the OR function in the conditions editor may help.

What version IP Office and VMPro are you using

Colpot
(Remember - If it aint broke - fix it till it is.)

Do you have holidays set up also? if you do.. Make sure you have at least one day selected for a holiday or you may not woek correctly. If your not using any.. disregard.

I tried with and without holidays. I has about 7 days selected for the holidays. I followed the tutorial and it still didn't work. I also tried it without the holidays and still no luck. It will not return the true statement no matter what I do.

Any ideas?

Do you have the Week Planner and Calendar in the same condition?

To avoid problem it's usually easier to test the Calendar and Week Planner one at the time.

Definately AND instead of OR. You can use the VMPro helper app to tshoot this.

Use OR not AND

it cannot be 1st Jan & 2nd Jan at the same time!!!!

This is the same for time based conditions.

Fooball is not a matter of life and death-It is far more important!!!!

every module, user name, short code, and condition must have a different and unique name. i have done this a few times by mistake and it will always return false

Is there an in depth manual for voicemail pro somewhere?

not really, basicly trial and error or try using the help files but nothing beat good old experience

I had a simular problem yesterday. The customer wanted Holiday messages to play but they wouldn't work. The "out of hours" message played all the time. Turns out that the receptionist had a night key assigned and pressed so the ip office was in night mode all the time. Your situation could be something simular. Good luck.

The problem is that you have two things in one condition, ha calendar and a weekplanner with both the selection AND.
Yhis looks logical but it is not.
It cannot be 10 AND 11 januari at the same time do your condition will never become true.
Create two conditions, one with a calendar and one with a weekplanner, both conditions use the OR function.
Then create a new condition with two conditions in it, the calender condition and the weekplanner condition both with the AND option. If both conditions ( weekplanner AND date ) are true then the third condition is true.

If it fails then upgrade to the latest version and try again or put the latest version on another PC and try that VM pro on the IPO.
