Need some help again. Cannot get Auto Attendant to answer.
Have a group start point(Test) with leave start point go to AutoAttend module. Have corresponding Hunt group in IPo with voice mail checked and answer set to 20sec.
When the hunt group is called and not answered, calls go to vm box for hunt group instead of Auto Attendant. VM Pro 4.1.40
Have successfully used this method many times.
What do you think?!?

I know it's obvious but you did hit Save and Make Live right? And you did connect the "Leave" start point to the module action or goto (I HATE the Goto)

Is it a busy VM. Try rebooting the services after the save and make live.

ACA - IP Office Implement
ACA - IP Telephony
CCENT - Cisco ICND1
CCNA - Working towards.

I did do all the obvious- the 2nd time! Have also restarted services. Depending on what I have done last, I either get a busy or disconnected.

Interact your services with the desktop and trace what its doing.
Post up what you get :)

Got it working although I've not see before. Had recorded AA greeting and could listen to it. But when went to menu there was no greeting. Had to search for it and save it in menu again. Never had to do this before. Have you guys had this experience?

In Windows Services select Voicemail Pro Service and then click the Log On tab. Select, if not already selected, "Local System Account" and then check "Allow service to interact with desktop".

Then restart the service. This will open a new window that provides some trace information.

I am having the same issue. Upgraded 4.1.27 to 4.1.40. Now my auto attendant does not pick up. The wav is there and I can listen to it with a handset. But when I dial the DID for this AA I get a normal voicemail prompts. Please help, I just upgraded this poor customer because the VM kept restarting at 4.1.27 and now this. All your input is appreciated.

Browse the VM server for the greeting file and make sure it is in the correct folder and path for the application. We had the same problem and it turned out the app wasn't finding the file where it needed to be. Go figure

This is acting like we have the modules spelling wrong. When we go to access the AA with a short code from inside the system you get your voicemail message and acessing from the outside did with VM:AA you get voicemail access.I have tried to reload VMPRO and importing a new MDB file and nothing has worked. This is a vista machine if that makes a difference. I am heading for the roof please help!!!!!!

HI

Its a known bug with 4.1(40). You record a greeting say called "Greeting" and on an incoming call, The vm pro doesn't associate with that name but renames it in a fashion. You can get round it by getting it to interact with the desktop, watch what name it thinks it is and then re-name the wav in the VM Pro. It will work then but I would recommend downgrading the VM Pro to 4.1(27)

I had the same problem with 4.1(40). I had to move the file from the "greeting" folder to the "name" folder and rename the "extension"_1.wav to "extension".wav get it to play the correct message.I kept the old one and renamed it "extension_old".wav just incase.
