Stumped. Downloaded 6.1.16 and attempted an upgrade. I attempted to launch the client but no go. I deleted everything and downloaded from the avaya ftp site again. Tried again and the client wouldn't launch. I have a windows 7 laptop. 6.0.44 worked fine. ???

Works fine for me.
I use win7 pro.

Well...still no go. I uninstalled VMP, regedited out all VMP, Voicemail Pro, and Voicemailpro entries. Checked all user permissions and turned off the firewall. Oddly I re-installed 6.0.44 and it works. I have Windows 7 Pro. Sigh

This looks like you need to do a reinstall of your OS or dig in to google :)

Ya. Looks like a 32/64 bit issue or even NetFramework. I might try installing elswhere besides Program Files (x86)

FYI...ended up doing a total backup and re-installing the OS. Three days later... VMP client and server work dandy. Phew!
