VMM_ANN not recognized

Test board, it states there is no board. Can't back it up, as it is not seen there either. It is on a 8700. All announcements are a fast busy tone. I have never dealt with one of these, it is my understanding that it is a virtual board, so there is nothing to reset? Just not sure how to troubleshoot. Disp integrated ann boards, it doesn't show up, can't busyout, etc.

do a display or change announcements and see if it points to the val board, you board may have went bad on you

When I display announcement xxxx, it shows 101v9. It is only if I busy, test, status, etc that it doesn't see it. I am under the assumption that this is a virtual board though? Slot V9 Virtual Voice Ann over LAN

have you tried rebooting the gateway? I know on the more modern gateways, if you login and do "dir" it'll show you what files are on it. Maybe the same can be done if you login to the G700 - session mgp, then dir, etc

I plan on trying to reboot the gateway, but must wait until after clinic hours. I will see what I can find.

Yes, I have a ticket in with Avaya. Board is already active. What has happened is that the board is seen, but has unassigned all the ports. They are unsure what caused it, and haven't been able to correct yet. I will post what I find out. Thanks!
