VMM(01) Fatal exception error

Lately I have been getting (more) blue screens with either a VxD related exception or more recently I received this in explorer: VMM(01) + 0000D2A3 Error : OE : 0028 : (000E2A3). I have also been having aol related plugin (mancore, etc.)trouble and I am wondering if that is related. I am running a Compaq 5000 series, Windows ME, with AMD duron and 8MB Nvidia TNT2 Graphics (which I have put at *no acceleration* to no avail). I am sunk, and I have been going through what seem to be endless archives coming out empty. Help?

and follow links). YOu should come to a page where you can make a specific search for your problem. I had a similar problem and microsoft had a download that fixed the problem...i think its a ME problem.

I wish i had the exact address....i will look and see if i can send here again....but the links through the site should work.

Have you tried msconfig and getting rid of all startup group items? Its probably one of those....
