We have just upgraded client from MAS v5 to MiCollab v7, we used the Mitel approved fresh install and restore backup method. This appears to work fine, but we are having an issue with the accounts desk phone numbers. The sync to PBX works fine and when we look to edit the user, the deskphone number is in their numbers list PRG 1 and published.

However, when the user runs the MiCollab client, the number isn't there and so they cannot choose a "send calls to" because it's not there.

Has anyone experienced this before, or can give me any pointers?

This is the very latest virtual micollab OVA, downloaded and installed yesterday.

Sync is with a Mitel 3300 MXe III (6.0 SP3 - 12.0.3.15)

I'm not sure that I understand your question but by PRG do you mean "Personal Ring Group"?
What is important for MiCollab Client isn't really how you set up the PRG but what you tell MiCollab Client itself.
Inside MiCollab under "Users and Services", click one of the user you're having a problem with and check in the tab "MiCollab Client" if you have something selected for "Desk phone extension".
Even if your other phone is in a PRG, if it doesn't show up there, MiCC won't care.

You could also check inside "MiCollab Client Service / Configure MiCollab Client Service / Accounts", click on the account and be sure that "Desk phone" is a licensed feature there. If not, maybe you haven't assigned the correct UCC bundle and/or feature profile to your user in "Users and Services". The "Default profile" of MiCollab won't cut it, pretty much everything is deactivated in that profile by default.

Yes, desk phone is licensed and if I look at teh user/users in the MiCollab configuration portal in the browser, the desk phone object is there.

It's when I run the MyCollab client and configure the user, there are no desk phone numbers in the list.

Did you select the deskphone in the micollab tab?
Did you also set the license above the deskphone option?
If you do not do that than this kind of issues occur.

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

Additional information, the license option above DesktopPhone is Console option, and that is not ticked as I don't have licenses for that.

This only happens with users that are syncronsed via the phone system. I have successfully created a user in the MiCollab portal and logged into the client. Deskphone is an option.

I've now figured it out, but don't know how to fix it. The field for deskphone when the user is created manually is called "Phone", when it synchronises it's called "Desk Phone" and I think this is it!

No idea on how I resolve this.

I do mean something else.
When you go to users and devices, select the user and go to the micollab tab, there is an option to select the ucc license the user can use. You do select this on the first tab but you need to do that on the micollab tab too otherwise you cannot see the status of other users.
I also made the mistake to put a soft phone on the desks phone dropdown box. This gave the same as you mention.
This micollab tab needs to be set perfectly otherwise you will have strange issues.
