Anyone know if a VMI will work with the BCM450? I have a customer that has an MICS that is close to maxed out, they are looking at the BCM450 so they can reuse all the handsets. But they also have a third party voicemail connected to the MICS via VMI that they want to keep if possible.

Don't know what third party they have but if they really want to keep it check if they can change the integration using either old Dialogic D42NS or D82JCTU, that would work.
I would still suggesting them to use the Call Pilot unless they have some type of customized DB popup.
I used a VMI on a BCM50 with no problems. The BCM50 saw the VMI's as a standard analog station.
