vmail to email

I get this error message in event viwer when voice mail server is trying to send a voicemail-email. Apparaently my ISP won't allow messages to go through without a "From:" address on the emails.

EasyMail SMTP error!
Server:smtp.charter.net
04/10/07 14:07:18
503 Bad sequence of commands (specify MAIL first)
503 No sender specified

How do I specify the sender? I don't see anywhere to do that in the control panel applet, General preferences or on Manager.

In Configuration of the Windows PC you can adet the settings of VM Pro, on the MAPI tab fill in a valid email address, this is you "from" mail address.

Voice mail to E-mail does not work if you have embedded voice mail?

I was able to try intrigrant's fix on Friday. It is working fine now.

But thanks for the info on embedded email. I think I just told a customer that it was supported so I'll have to correct that.
