VMail to Email?

Hey gang,
I recently upgraded the IP office unit to 3.2 (53). The OLD software was forwarding the voice mails to emails no problem. Now that I have upgraded the software, loaded it on a new voice mail server, I can't get it to work? It worked with the old software and Outlook Express and haven't chnaged anything? The only difference is I ma using Office 2003 Outlook? Any help would be appreciated!!

Did you make sure that your mapi preferences in the vmpro client application still exists? Are you able to test the connection using the vmpro control panel application?

Yes, checked the MAPI preferences and they are (I think?) good to go. I am unclear what you mean by the VM Pro Control Panel Application test? Please explain so i can test the connection.

Did you also upgrade the VM Pro to 3.2? The VM needs to be the same software (i.e. 3.2) as the IPO.

Hi,

Then VM may be on 3.2 but have you still upgraded to the latest release of minor build?

Goto control panel and run the VMPro application. Enter in the user name that you are using to send email and push test.

There is a second tab for testing if you are using smtp.

Hey CarGoSki!! Went to Control Panel, ran the VM Pro app, setup the SMTP and tested. Tested AOK. Yes the "copy" on the user VMail tab is set and yes the user email address is correct I'm clueless at this point.

Scratch the last post...

Works great now!!! Looks a 'profile' issue in Outlook. Once i fixed that it wokrs fine.
