IP 500 4.2(11) software
VM PRo 4.2(19)

cannot launch VM Pro client software, voicemail is running, if I dial *17 it answers, but cannot open the GUI.

The error I get is

Access to the path "C:\Program Files\IP Office]Voicemail Pro \Offline_VMData.mdb" is denied.

Has anyone ran into this before and if so, how did you fix it.

No, I have not. There is no password currently for the local login to the machine, it shows that I am connected locally, but none of the default call flows are displayed.

Your problem is that you can't write to the database. You need to allow full control to the Avaya folder to your currently logged on user (or all users). If you are not part of a domain make sure the file is not "read only".
