hi guys,

i know this isnt really an ipo question, but i am hoping someone has maybe seen this before

copying voicemail wav files to email, emails hits treo, treo downloads but cant play,

as far as i could find the treos are about 6 months old (cant remember model number off of the top of my head), do they need third party software to play the wav files? blackberrys dont seem to?

There was a post here a while ago about this. I will try and search it out.

thanks kevin, search function still seems to only bring up results form november 07 for some reason

Is this a codec issue? What codecs does this Treo have?

Take Care

I have always wished that my computer would be as easy to use as my telephone.
My wish has come true. I no longer know how to use my telephone.

looks that way, as i get a sort of progress bar when trying to play the file,

its a 680, just need to get my hands on it again so i can have a look.

This works for all Palm smart phones...

When the attachment is downloaded, tap on the small icon next to the attachment name. Select "Select Viewer" then choose "Voice Memo"

It will remember your selection the next time you have a WAV file.
