OK..
I set a few of these up in the past but its not clear to me what I'm doing wrong.

I have 2 VMPRo's Centralized and a Backup
I'm trying to get VM to Email working without any success.

The customer's relay server is not the email server

Customer is not seeing any reguest from the VMPro to the SMTP relay server
I tried to run debug to see whats going on from the VMPro but I'm not sure its supported on 8.1.XX
When you select the vm5 option I still see the same results - nothing linked to the vmpro.

Do I need IIS installed on the VMPro to get SMTP Vmail to email working ?

This is getting painful! Maybe I'll need to setup a wireshark to see whats going on.

Thanks for any replies

It's only dialtone!!!

you should not need IIS for this. in voicemail pro go to the control panel and find the voicemail pro icon. make sure that there is an entry in for the account on the first tab. The email address does not have to exist but in needs to be in there. you also need to have the second tab filled out as well with the smtp server, port and auth if needed. relaying messages can be flaky as there is a lot of permissions that sometimes need to be done in order for it to go.

if you start smtp loging in the voicemail program under preferences and restart the service that should get you some more detail.

the sender and receiver options are in the voicemail program. I am talking about the control panel for windows vmail pro icon where there has to be an address in the first tab.
