VM To Email using GMail Question

Try to set up SNMP VM to e-mail with Gmail. I have been told you can't do this because the IPaddress for G-mail change.. But, I see threads on here that you can.

So I guess I need to ask can it be done and if so.. what is the tick to get it to work.

Yes. This works for me in Embedded and VM Pro. Though they are setup in different places.

Just ping mail.gmx.com

If your device or application does not support SSL and you are need an SMTP for gmail to connect use aspmx.l.google.com on port 25. (that is the letter l between aspmx. and .google)

Give this a try.
