VM setup

I setup a voice mail box on ext 226. The user intiated it and setup the password etc.

Now when she hits feature 981 on her phone it ask her to log on to the ext and then the password. Why doesnt it just ask for a password?

Also when a caller calls in it says her vmail is not setup but it is

Ftr*0, press intercom and verify in display ext.# is correct.

gives the name of the persons mailbox

Check out the user interface on the Class of Service for that mailbox. If it is set to Call Pilot, then you will get that log screen. Change it to NVM in the CoS and should solve the issue

The mailbox is inialized--correct person very weird.

Delete the mailbox and reinstall it. If you still have problems then resubmit. I have done this several times over the years with great success, good luck...
