VM Saturated

Hi all, i made a switch between 2 phones(m7310) on our system and since then we keep getting VM saturated when we try to acces the person voice mail... but the box is empty!!!

and when i do FCT 981 on that person phone, instead of getting "enter password" to access the voice mail messages and stuff, i get an ACCESS query. Just like there were no voice mail attach to the phone....

Can anyone help?

Never heard of that terminology used for a Norstar; VM saturated & ACCESS query. Go to f 983 under mailbox and make sure extension matches voice mail extension to start with and if ok delete mailboxes reboot system and add new mailboxes.
 
Ok my system is in french, iv try to translate what was written on the phone, VM saturated was telling me that his box was full(saturated).

and by ACCESS query, i meant if you type FCT 981 on a phone which as no voice mail box youl get the word ACCESS and the system is waiting for you to input the mailbox number and the password.

Allready check for Fct 983 mailbox number match voice mail extention, 242 for mailbox and 242 for phone. And i allready deleted 3 times the box and redo it.

the only thing i cant do at this time is a reboot car everybody is there using the phone...

Ok ill try that tomorrow morning when nobody is there yet and let you know.
 
You probably have set relo turned on and when you moved the phone the extension changed. Do a Feature *0, press the intercom key, and see if that was the extension whose voice mail you were trying to access. Obviously the phone you're checking doesn't have a mailbox associated with it so do Feature 983, MBOX, CHG, enter the extension mailbox you were getting the saturated message for, and keep hitting next until the extension is displayed. I'd bet it isn't the extension you've been trying to access it from.
 
Well i did my reboot of the system and no change... just this morning when i call the user i get : "box not initialize" (which is ok becaus the person is not in yet) then "box saturated", follow by "not free"

And for Oldestgeek, moving is set to ON(we have a phone that move sometime) and i double check with FCT*0 and it says 242(which is what i want) and with FCT 983, box 242 is assossiated with phone 242.

Next thing ill try to put a new mailbox on another phone then 240 or 242(which are the one i switch) to see if i get same probleme.... I'll let you know. In the meantime if you have other idea???
 
What happens when and MB is not INI it will go to the General Delivery MB, That is what is FULL or saturated, the messages need to be deleted. It is MB 100.
 
Well i dont know why but after a short while, the person init the mailbox and all worked!!!!

It worked because like Cook said it was going to the General Del (100) before she initialized and now its not. You should clean out MB 100 ASAP. Those messages are using up a lot of storage and who knows, they may just be important. I had one system where they fired the secretary and no one told the replacement to check that mailbox as it had no MWI. They were having problems with voice mail and when I checked they had over 700 messages in the Gen Del MB. I had her start playing them and a lot were for orders for their product from a year or so earlier. They now have a phone set up just to display MWI for that box.
 
Ok how can i check this?? FCT 981, other, 1000000 then i change password.... and there is 47 messages in there hehehehe you guys were right!! Well your always right! :)
