any time I think I have figured it out , there comes a mystery. Can one please make cast it for me as foolows:

I have a CX with the standard 4 VM ports and 8 VM boxes. Now I want to accommdate the following:

AA
4 User mailboxes

MLAA
AA -->> press a single digit for Sub menu to Departments ---> department AA --> press Single digit to a second level department section --> ring extension or groups --> CFNA to department VM

Questions:
how many VM ports do I need for 4 departments?
how many VM box licenses do I need for 4 departments and 12 extention mailboxes?
do I have to assign a mailbox to each submenu hunt group for the departments

I will be grateful if one could help with a script of this scenario using arbitrary numbers

do you have a PRI card? Or a DSP module? if so, expand the voicemail to 16 ports.

You can also use a single mailbox as the Auto attendant. Create a "Trusted" Extension as the main number into the Auto Attendant. That single mailbox can be set up as a Menu Node with 10 options - 0-9.

No PRI. Will the "Trusted" extension consume a license ??
