Hello all,
I did my first Version 7 update from version 4.2 last night. I read in the installation guide that you simply put in Cd and click run. once it ask to update to Version 7 you click yes and let her go. The first time I did this I had no errors on install but then when I tried to open the VMPRO client I recieved the "error opening callflow database" error.
I looked into some the forums and it said to make sure the VM DB service was running. I looked and there is no DB service installed at all! So I ran the setup again to repair just in case. This time I open the CLient and the Mode is Offline but I do not receive the error. The major issue now is all the Call flows and Modules are Blank!! I looked again at the services and noticed the VM DB service is not there once again.
The strange thing is, if I call in and watch with System Status I can see it goes to the correct after hours call flow.
So my question is , how can I see my original call flows again? IS the DB service now obsolete and the version 7 uses a different means of storing the info somewhere else? They must be coming from somewhere, so where are they, on the IP Office?
I can't figure out whats happing here, please help experts..
