VM PRO - Transfer to Module not number!

Hi all,

Im extensively using VMPRO (latest 4.1.42) to route incoming calls to different hunt group. My problem is that sometimes i want to transfer to another VM PRO Module rather than an extension or phone number so i use the 'transfer' tool and set the Destination as the name of the VM Pro module i wish to end up on, that doesnt work, calls are dropped instead of transfer.

I cant find anything to help from helpfile, is there a specific syntax?

in the specific tab in the transfer action, click on the button with the ... icon on it next to destination

in the drop down box labelled startpoint or module you will find your modules,

thinking anbout it, change the transfer action, to a goto action, and do the same thing,

?why not add the module to the call flow like you're supposed too. That's what modules are for. Just drag it onto the callflow and link the action to it.

benefit is you can use 'module return' actions in your module to return the call to whichever callflow its being used in, very nice when you have the same module used as a component for several call flows.

you can also double click the goto and it takes you to that module
