Can anyone help with this? Every 3 or 4 days, my VM Pro service terminates and this is what I am getting in the event log;

Faulting application vmprov5svc.exe, version 3.2.15.0, faulting module vmprov5svc.exe, version 3.2.15.0, fault address 0x000589af.

Thanks!

Garry

I had the same problem with that version, except mine was failing as often as three to four times a day.

One thing that might help you out as a work around until this gets fixed is that services can be set to restart automatically if they fail.

On the computer running VM Pro, open computer management and go to the Services node. Find the VMProDBService item and double click on it. On the Recovery tab, set the drop downs for each of the failure options to "Restart the Service".

It won't fix the problem of the service failing, but it might keep the complaints to a minimum since it should never be out for more than a minute.

Add a $ or ? to all Menu's and connect it to repeat the menu. This seems to solve the issue.
